NASHVILLE- Competition brings out the best in athletes. The demanding pre-conference schedule of the Tennessee State University Tigers softball team has given them confidence. They started their season with a 4-0 record, the best start since 2008. They won their first four Ohio Valley Conference games, the best in program history. Their sweep in the opening OVC series against Lindenwood was their first three-game sweep since 2007, and they are 6-0 against HBCU opponents.
