Adrian “AG” Granderson | Executive Producer

Adrian “AG” Granderson is an innovative and energetic executive and business owner with over 20 years of experience in the non-profit and entertainment business sector. He also has a proven business record in marketing, event planning, fundraising, and brand management.

AG is a proud two-time graduate of Tennessee State University with a bachelor’s degree in speech communication & theatre and a Master’s of business administration (M.B.A.) degree.

His written and verbal communication skills have allowed him to be published in magazines, featured in full-length news articles, and a sought-after speaker to youth and adults.

AG is the former President & CEO of 100 Black Men of Middle Tennessee, Inc, a non-profit organization and local affiliate of 100 Black Men of America, Inc., from 2003-2008, where he worked his way up from Administrative Assistant beginning in 1998.

As marketing consultant & event coordinator, AG has advised clients including universities, non-profit organizations, top Billboard R&B and Jazz musicians, and others.

AG has over 20 years of experience in broadcast entertainment, including radio broadcasting, mass marketing, voice-over, and public speaking. He is a recognized Nashville radio personality who has been on-air in the market for over 20 years, most recently, completing an 18-year run on iHeartRadio’s 101.1 The Beat Jamz, having served as night jock, midday jock, production director, public relations director, sales associate and more during that tenure.

Since 2010, he has opened no less than six entertainment concepts, including the wildly popular Jazz & Jokes, Agenda Nightclub, Minerva Avenue Craft Cocktail House, Kranky Chef’s Urban Kitchen, and WKND Hang Suite, now with imprints in both Nashville & Memphis – with additional concepts to open in Memphis & Nashville in 2021. All imprints now fall under the parent company – Suite Lyfe Holdings LLC.

In addition to business achievements, AG is also recognized as a youth advocate and mentor, as well as a sought-after host/emcee for special events. His involvement has led to service on boards and committees for various civic organizations such as the Frist Center for the Visual Arts, Urban League Young Professionals, Association for Non-Profit Executives, Young Leaders Council, Middle Tennessee Council of Boy Scouts, and Nashville Youth Alliance. AG has also been appointed to the Mayor’s Task Force examining teen dropouts.

In 2016, AG added television personality to his list of accomplishments, as host of ‘BOUNCEVILLE,” a television show on Bounce TV highlighting the people, places, and events that shape Music City.

In 2019, AG and five podcasters/businessmen, created the GreatConvo Media Network, focusing on building a community through podcast development.

In 2020, AG was tapped to create the Tennessee State University Big Blue Sports Network, which is the broadcasting and storytelling arm of TSU Athletics and a partnership between the university and his newly formed imprint, SeasonONE Media. He, along with the Director of Athletics Dr. Mikki Allen, is in charge of creating media content centered around all aspects of the athletics program, including radio broadcasts, coaches shows, podcasts, scripted content, and more.

In 2021, AG launched DopeRadioFM.com, which is his first foray into owning a full-service commercial internet radio station. Armed with his 20+ years of radio experience, AG employs recently furloughed and released radio talent from across the country to voice this new concept station.

AG enjoys golfing, listening to podcasts, and spending time with his wife of 16 years, Leah (who is also a TSU graduate in the College of Engineering), and their 2 children ages 15 years (son, Zy) and 7 years old (daughter, Sian).
